Could i get in trouble for this?

Okay so i have been prerusing the casual encounters section in craigslist (dont judge me) and i came across i really pretty girl. We have been messaging, but i havent sent her pics, i hav used a fake name, a fake email and everything. She is hinting toward meeting, and i got worried abut all the stuff that happens on CL (robberies, murders etc.) So i told her if she was a prostitute or if this was a setup to not bother that i worked for the local police department. Is this impersonation? Can i get in trouble??
