IN TREATMENT week 6 Laura: Did the therapist handle it well?

I just think he handled the whole situation terribly by even telling her that he had feelings for her. I mean it's completely unprofessional for a therapist to give in to his emotions like that and it further ruins his position in Laura's life as a therapist. But since part of the shows main point is to humanize Paul into a character I understand his struggle and empathize with him in his own situation. however, it was just morally wrong and completely against the rules of therapy and if Paul wasn't having problems at home I don't think he ever would have done it.
