Why is my secondary hard drive acting all weird ?

Have you tried booting first then plugging in the drive instead of booting with it connected? Hopefully you can do that and still read the drive. If not...I hope you have those 13k songs backed up somewhere. A hard drive, in an enclosure or not, isnt designed to take a beating (unless you buy a toughbook lol, those are designed to take a hit) Sorry I couldnt be of any more istance. Best of luck! If you do end up losing everything on it and do not have a backup, I would strongly suggest making a regular backup of the contents of the drive, especially if your job depends on it!

As a Catholic, I felt I ought to watch it. I will say this though, it upset me a great deal. I realise that it was Mr Gibson's graphic portrayal of His torture and subsequent Crucifixion, but I found it to be horrific. OK, so you don't torture someone by calling them bad names or hitting them with a slipper, but this hurt me because it made me realise that these Men were incredibly barbaric (which is how Mr Gibson, no doubt, saw it) It reduced me to tears at the end, and even though it may have been accurate (though we will never really know) it was perhaps something that should have stayed in Mr Gibson's' head and not put on to celluloid.

Why can I not stop dreaming?

Sorry dear you won't stop dreaming because what you have is a spiritual gift of dreaming. Not everyone's dreams has significant meanings. I am the same way I could dream of something as small as having a flat tire on my car and low and behold a couple days later I will have a flat tire but in a different spot than where I dreamed it was. or when I was younger I used to dream about my mother dying and when I was 13 years old my mother died from cancer. Now I am 30 and I still have dreams, I even prayed to stop dreaming because it's annoying. However, its a gift that I have and Your dreams are forewarnings and windows to the future but not the type of dreams that you can get lucky lotto numbers from these type of dreams put you on alert or to make aware of something current or about to happen. Normally you would be able to interpret the dream fully after you encounter a real life situation.

Is my Molly fish going to give birth soon?

My boyfriend bought me three molly fish (without asking me) after my betta died. I figured out that two were male and one was a female. The day after they were put in the tank one of the males died and I still do not know why. Two days after they were bought ( December 17, 2010) I came home from school to find 7 little babies swimming around the bottom of the tank. My boyfriend picked up a breeder net and I got the fry into it. Only one is still alive now though. The other male died the next day after staying on the bottom for a while. There are now 2 ghost shrimp, 3 tetra's, a cory cat and a young gold dust molly I got at the pet store in my aquarium with my Original female Dalmation Molly. Yesterday I took the fry ( the one left from the first birth and six other little black balloon belly molly fry I saved from certain death and got for free from Pet-co) and moved them from the breeder net into a one gallon aquarium by themselves. Since the female should be giving birth again soon I put her in the breeder net but she dosn't seem like she is that pregnant. Am I wroung about the gestation period of a molly?

That's such a tough question, not the least because it has so many parts and I think I believe in them all so I have to pick one answer. Am I old fashion or don't most churches believe only a few will be saved and the heck with the rest, so they don't try to interface with the whole picture. Most prophecy I've read seems to imply that, if most people keep on the way they are going or the wrong way, then few will be saved, leaving an opening there with if. Further, I think the prophets didn't want to imply that you could just be lax and it will just happen. I you want to save the world, the churcey say it won't be saved. That seems very defeatist, to me, and worse emotionally, very saddening. It seems we can read anything in to the scriptures that we want to and get out of them what's in our hearts. I rather think the scriptures are written on a literal and many spiritual levels for whatever level the reader is on, making the Bible a living testament for all eternity with infinite implications. The spirit of it brings life and the literal death, as the literal is often specific happenings in the past and only applies for the specific cirstances, while the spiritual is to see how they fit into the personal and public lives of each one of us. We need the spirit to guide us in a real personal way that others may not understand so can't judge. When it says we can't even guide our own step, how can we guide everyone elses. I think it's the attempt of a preacher or denomination to impose their thinking on others and control them to which people balk. Maybe they wouldn't, if we were taught how to be free and happy from the truth, we would stay with them, but I tried so hard and the power just wasn't there. It works to a degree for some, but most seem to find more somewhere else and the churches must feel it's meant to be that way. Jesus and Mohamed both said that's not the way God wants it, and only a few can see and say that God will have his way. In that case, Frou frou is right on target, as the Bible was written for man, not for God, as the scriptures say that. The purpose for loving God with all our heart, soul and mind is because it free us from the control and teachings of man about the Bible. That is only commentary. I think that to really get the spirit of the Bible, you have to read it cover to cover with an inquiring mind and sincere heart, not here and there forever. That puts the rest in context.

How to get sound back on the computer?

ive recently opened up a music program thing called vst host and vst adventusdf.dll and now my computer does not have sound either through headphones or speakers. ive tried going through all the settings in control panel sound devices and yet no trouble question marks and checked the mute. Everything seems to be as it was before (not on mute) but still no sound. im using sound blaster 5.1 on a windows xp sp3. i have not touched anything to affect the sound other than opening up vst host then in host opening up VST Adventusdf.dll then boom no sound. Please help me get my sound back. Keeping in mind that the mute is off and the program has been deleted but still no sound

When the baby drops you'll feel tons of pressure and maybe pains. I was in TONS of pain, not to mention having a flu on top of it REALLY helped lol. But, it just feels like your sides and muscles are sooo stretched, at least for me. Everyone is different. But, my baby dropped at 38 weeks. I just think he handled the whole situation terribly by even telling her that he had feelings for her. I mean it's completely unprofessional for a therapist to give in to his emotions like that and it further ruins his position in Laura's life as a therapist. This is normal, it is fluid trying to heal the wound. Keep it covered and change the bandage often. Clean with peroxide and use an antibiotic ointment, until there is no more drainage, then keep it dry and covered. If it starts to get really, red, hot, more painful, or the drainage increases, see a doctor those are signs of infection and you will probably need an antibiotic. Looks painful, good luck!

The government would basically develop its own government ran oil company. They would drill for oil here in the US and/or off the coast. They would refine the oil to gasoline and then sell it for none profit to various gas stations or distributors at a lower cost. This would create competition and force the other companies to lower the cost of their gas and would also cut down of the shortage.

I've been going to my local bookstore for years. A few months ago I started to notice two young ladies (early 20's) that work there. They are very different, but both are very sweet! The first few times I saw them there, they would smile at me and toss their hair, magically "appear" out of nowhere within the store if I moved to a different section, etc. The funny thing is this...These girls have always dressed ok, but something recently has changed. The last few times I have seen them, they no longer wear plain, "earthy crunchy", drab attire like courderoy slacks with suede "jungle mocs". Now, all of a sudden it's like both of these girls have ditched all of their "school marm" gear, and now are dressing with beautiful skirts and heels, and they I have even noticed makeup on them. For the past five years I have lived in this apartment weird things have constantly happened. Doors Slamming, Lights turning on and off, things moving on their own etc... My girlfriend is infatuated with another guy?

I have had an on/off relationship with my girlfriend for 8 years. I've always been attracted to her, but we didn't seem to be compatible. On the drive back (not an overnight) when I was talking to her on the phone, she made a comment about how much she really wanted to have with him (I'll leave out the vulgar expression she used). I got mad, and she ped it off as "joking", but she doesn't "joke" like that about any other men. On the one hand, I don't want to be insecure and controlling, but I know her quite well and I'm fairly sure she will try to get this guy in bed in hopes she can entice him into a relationship (she leads with her crotch, and he is a VERY big "fish" for a gold digger). My mother had me and my sister, when she was 18 and 19. i know im not a father... or a mother at that fact, but i strongly believe that parents should not control their kids, they should simply guide them and advice them to whats right or wrong. when their younger they should be disciplined of course but as they get to teens they should be able to make their own decisions with your guidance, not being told what to do. this will make them more independent and have a better relationship with your parents. my mums like that she wont force me to not talk to someone, or say im not allowed boyfriends. but she talks to me alot about different situations shes been in which has taught me things to be weary of. and me and my mum have a really good relationship, and i know that i would do as she wanted just to respect her even though i could go against her wishes. anyway the moral of these ramblings is that the parent should not discourage any friendships at all, the child would end up resenting you for it and will try to rebel.

Good question, but I can't buy or sell that. Jackson and AP are too different types of backs. AP is more of a power back. He can run past you, over you and threw you plus he's on a good team where as he's always seen on tv with crazy highlights of his run. Ok, here's the thing. My mom did liposuction, in a hospital of course, and she ended up coming back to home ( later then expected) and was vomiting and whining that her throat was hurting. She was operated and was under sevral antibiotics. Rear-ended.. and I'm at fault?

So me and my boyfriend had just pulled out of a gas station and was driving when a SUV came flying around a curve and hit me in the penger side of my back bumper.. the SUV swerved and where he hit was on the front driver side of his front bumper. Well the insurance called us today and told us MY car was at fault because the state trooper wrote on the report that it was the penger rear SIDE quarters that was hit on my car! But clearly its not hit anywhere on the side! If I was to take my back bumper off and put a new one back on, my car would have no dents! So the insurance lady says that if it is only the back bumper then it is HIS fault.. but the state troopers office said that if its anywhere at all close to the side they automatically say its the rear side. How does this make sense? And how do I fight this? Its crazy...

Why is my central heating doing this?

We have a combi boiler and when we have a shower or run any hot water the radiators get hot, weather the heating is turned on or not! It's a good basis of a poem, but it could use a little fixing up. I like the idea you are getting across, that people learn from their mistakes. Personally, I don't really like it when people rhyme something with "too". It don't think it seems as professional. Also check for spelling and grammatical errors, like in the 2nd stanza, last line, the word is "realize", but you spelled it "relize". The idea of the poem is great, though!

Why did my ****** attack her 2 week old puppy?

My ******'s puppy's are 2 weeks old today. We went out for a couple of hours last night to baby sit for family. When we arrived home my ****** had trashed the kitchen&was covered in blood. I thought she may have pinched a tin of cat food off the side and cut her mouth, but the blood was on top of her nose. I got my boyfriend to quickly check the puppys&what we saw totally devistated me. She had bitten the face of the dog, his face had a large gash from his eye to the side of his face &he had a slash down the other side of his face near his eye (luckily missing it) &a few puncture wounds. He was still alive luckily just very frightened. I took the two girls away from mum to be safe&rushed the dog to the vet. He said not to stitch the wound because we will be closing the eye up&locking in infection he had a jab of antibiotic, pain killer&gave me 2 injctions to do today, also some stuff to rinse his wounds with. I cant understand why she did it she's ben fab with them all this time...cont
